Dr. Alissa Stockton's lifelong professional journey in medicine began in 1988 with a focus on medical coding, later transitioning to nursing. During the 1990s, she attended San Diego State University, where she majored in Anthropology and minored in Psychology. In 2000, she graduated from the Dallas Institute of Acupuncture  and Oriental Medicine and has been licensed to practice in Arizona since 2004. 

She furthered her education by earning a Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in San Francisco, California. This program included extensive coursework in Functional Medicine. Between 2013-2015, Dr. Stockton expanded her expertise by earning degrees in Secondary Education, Personal Training, and Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. 

Dr. Stockton's expertise in holistic medicine spans over 2 decades and encompasses a diverse range of advanced medical and therapeutic techniques. Dr. Stockton's extensive training, education and certifications in the following areas highlight her commitment to integrative approaches in physical medicine, longevity and aesthetics:

• Injection Therapy with botanicals, peptides, vitamins, analgesics and Ultra High dilutions. 

• Functional Medicine, a biology based holistic approach.

With over a decade of experience as a collegiate educator at Eastern Arizona College in the Sports Medicine and Physical Education department (now Human Performance department), Dr Stockton has gained valuable insights into integrative physical medicine.

Marissa's journey in holistic medicine began as a child due to her mother’s involvement in medicine.  Later, as an adult, she obtained a Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Certification, as well as an Associates of Science Degree majoring in Personal Training from Eastern Arizona College.  Marissa's educational journey also included attending the University of Phoenix, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Medical Management. This comprehensive program provided her with a deeper understanding of the healthcare system and further equipped her to effectively manage the operations of Rose Hill Wellness.

Since joining Rose Hill Wellness in 2014, Marissa has been an integral part of the team, contributing her expertise and compassionate care to the well-being of patients. Her training in various holistic modalities, including Chi Gong, cupping, Gua sha, and auricular acupuncture for detox, allows her to provide a wide range of therapeutic options to meet the unique needs of each individual.

A true advocate for holistic living, Marissa embraces a well-rounded lifestyle that encompasses a healthy diet, regular exercise, and meditation. She firmly believes in the power of food as medicine and encourages her patients to adopt holistic practices to achieve optimal wellness.

Marissa Polen is a dedicated and compassionate office manager, with a deep understanding of holistic medicine and a genuine passion for supporting the well-being of others. Through her extensive training, holistic lifestyle, and commitment to ongoing education, she continues to be a valuable asset to Rose Hill Wellness. Her cheerful attitude and welcoming nature create an environment where patients feel valued, cared for, and inspired to embark on their own holistic wellness journey.

Originally from Boulder, Colorado, Nanci grew up in a family where holistic medicine and staying healthy was the norm, not the alternative.  Because of the impact holistic practitioners made on her in her early years, it was only natural that she became a practitioner herself.  She has multiple certifications in various healing modalities, obtaining her Associates of Occupational Studies in Therapeutic Massage from Heritage College, Denver Colorado in 2011.  Following graduation, she had a successful massage therapy practice in Boulder, Colorado which she eventually sold to move to Los Lunas, New Mexico in 2016.

Nanci has over 5 years successfully managing medical offices as well as over 20 years managing her own practices.  After moving to Safford Arizona in 2020, Nanci joined Rose Hill Wellness as the Insurance Manager where she revised medical records procedures from paper to electronic format, automated patient scheduling and check in/check out logistics, and instituted HIPAA policies and compliances.  Additionally, Nanci established medical billing strategies and handles all medical billing for the practice.  She is well versed in current health insurance practices and brings with her a deep passion for helping people become the best version of themselves.  Additionally, she doubles as our webmaster and co-manages with Marissa our social media campaigns and advertising.  It is her belief that that mind, body, and spirit work together, and, if necessary with the assistance of integrative science based therapies and consistent cohesive treatments, to achieve homeostasis.
